Long sleeve hoodies are the absolute best around winter, spring and fall as it keeps you warm and gives you that casual look that’s always in style. So, if you’ve developed a fond attachment for that one hoodie and can’t bear to part with during the summer because the weather’s too hot for you to wear it, then spice it up a little.

Give that long sleeve hoodie a good washing, once it’s all dried out, zip it up and fold it so that the sleeves are well aligned and symmetrical at the back of the hoodie. Keep the two sleeves together and measure about 4 inches from the shoulder and make a cutting mark with some pins, chalk or washable marker.

Pull out your trusty scissors and neatly cut the sleeves off so that you’re left with a short sleeve hoodie! It’s almost done, but not quite. To keep the threads from fraying out after time, sew a hem around each edge of the sleeve either by machine or by hand. Once that’s done, fold up the sleeves once or twice until you get your desired length and iron the cuffs down.

Now you can use your favourite long sleeve hoodie through the summer and not toss it into the closet! Once spring comes about, simply pull it over a long sleeve shirt and you’re done! The spicy long sleeve hoodie will give you a fresh look and make you look younger.
